Anyone in the Beachwood, OH area? Something about this one looks a little weird to me - like the paint on the hood, but it's hard to tell from the photos. I'd sure check it out if I was somewhere in the area though!

Heath,

Did you enlarge those pictures? It just looks like a digital screw-up to me on the hood paint. I would definitely check that car out. Scary to think it's only 25% of the way to catching me :)

Looked to me a bit like it still had morning dew, or from a car wash, on it. Rear pictures also showed some water near the trunk lid, so that was my guess.

Nothing beats actually looking at it, though.

I think you are right! On one of the other pictures, it looks more obviously like clouds. The rear lid picture looks like water though. But, again, it is not clear.

Bottom line - NEVER buy a car unless YOU can see it in person! Also check for service records. Don't ask me how I know!!!!!!!! Many flaws (paint especially) can't be seen, even with the best of photograpy.

The heck with the paint, what about the service history, chain guides, transmission and more.

This dealership is about 20 minutes from my house. They have a good reputation. However, I too would check any car in some fashion before purchasing on E-Bay. I just bought a mini-van for my wife in Texas. We only did it because it is located about 50 miles from her dad. Got a great deal but had to co-ordinate a visit and mechanical inspection before making a bid. I am still considering an engine for our Q but obviously the engine money turned into a Mazda MPV!!

Anyone else put off by the fact that they're located on "Chagrin Blvd.?"
