I think this one will be interesting to watch. KBB Private Party value is maxed out at $8,500, and Retail is about $10,000, but I think it'll go for more than that.

I'll say, I voted 8-10K. I actually saw the listing earlier and thought to myself, "Beautiful example, let's see if it cracks $8,000." Obviously I was wrong. By the time I got to this poll, the bid has already surpassed my low threshold and stands at $8,200.

It's amazing what the laws of supply and demand do to used car sales... as well as having the right buyers looking at the right time. I've seen reasonably priced, kinda low mileage vehicles sit for ages. Then I've bought a car off eBay after it had been relisted 3 times, and I got it for close to half what the original eBay listing sale price was.
It would be interesting to see where this one ends up.

I wonder what the reserve is? I could see it going for around $10-11k. I don't think there is much demand for the Q45, though.

There is an 05 with the premium package in Atlanta that has been for sale for over a month with low miles. It looks perfect and the color really jumps out at me. Something with the headlights jumped out at me, though... one is cloudy and the other is clear, which usually means an accident at most or the headlight replaced at the least. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful , rare car.

Both of the 05s look pretty sweet, although I am not a huge fan of the third gen body style. The 98 for $15K seems like a bit of a reach.

As enticing as low mileage cars are, I would almost prefer a well kept higher mileage car. These cars with the low miles obviously sit most the time or are only driven very short stretches. Sure they're in excellent cosmetic shape, but rubber suspension components, belts and fluids can still go bad. The 98 is a huge stretch at $15k.

I'm with you on that 98. Plus I like raccoon eyes and a trunk spoiler on my Y33.

And when I shop for cars, I consider mechanical condition first, cosmetics second. I cant authoritatively say that low mileage cars don't deserve the premium they command, but to me cars are transportation tools. I put in around 30K miles a year so any low mileage car I buy will soon become "normal".

Within reason, I can fix mechanical wear and age related stuff... Cosmetics can be sort of fixed, but there's nothing like factory paint.

So, $15,299 huh? Well, I'm very happy for the seller.

I know bluebook values have always been unfair to the q45 & m45 of the era, but I didn't see it going for THAT close to double bluebook value.

Makes me wonder about the one that COOLQ45 shared. I suppose a premium plus trim package is rare, as the seller says. As the owner, I'd put it on ebay to get more eyes on it.
I tried running the VIN on one of the free sites on google, but wasn't getting anywhere. I wanted to see if it had been in a wreck, but both headlights look a little foggy to me. Either way, for the cost of a buff n reseal, why not just address it before posting the pictures? People get a little picky when you're asking for more than bluebook.

I'd probably put it on eBay for the extra exposure too. The mileage difference isn't that significant, but I personally prefer the pearl over navy blue. I try not to be too picky about color when buying a used car, but it would still be a factor...
