I'm looking for some good, low mass drive pulley's for my '97 KA24DE.I don't really want to underdrive, but some nice aluminium pieces would be nice.Anybody have any experience with some good pulleys?

I'm also looking at an Injen Cold Air Intake, but I've heard bad things about particle penetration. Thoughts?

Both ASP and Unorthodox Racing make a lightweight crank pulley. I do believe both are underdrive pulleys though. The ASP is cheaper but the timing marks are (or were, if they fixed it) off, which can make setting your timing a bit of an adventure. There are various schools of thought regarding the effects of a lightweight pulley on the longevity of your engine.

FWIW, I've never heard anything bad about Injen or AEM cold air intakes (except for the few poor ****ers who hydrolocked their engines).

The intake you are speaking about is quite useless without a decent exhaust to help the motor breathe. The proper way to mod the flow in/out is to always do the exhaust first.

OK, just needed to make sure you knew.

I would definatly recommend the injen intake. It has served me well with my KA motor. The full CAI extension helps a little when running hot in the summer as well, but I had to cut some metal to get it out of the engine compartment, your year may or may not be the same.

But the regular length pipe is great, I have a different K&N filter and no "particle penetration".
