Alright, last night I installed the air intake on my car. Due to some issues with it, I went back and made sure the connections were all tightened, everything was clean, etc.

When it warms up now, it idles around 450 to 500 rpm. When I am driving, if I slow down, clutch the car to neutral and such, it idles down so low it dies.

Should I try turning the idle up? When I was installing the air intake last night, one of the air hoses was kinked, and it wouldn't start...so I figured I had somehow turned the idle down when I bumped the throttle body. So, without knowing exactly what I was doing, I messed with it a little. I don't know if I turned it down a little or something, but it wouldn't surprise me. Hey, how else am I supposed to learn, other than doing it, messing up, and coming here for help to fix it? lol. Any suggestions to what could be wrong?

BTW, when it goes to idle down and die, I can "catch" it before it does and slowly let the idle down, and it won't die. It will just idle down to about 500 RPM, and stay there til I gas it again.

One of my air hoses (the furthest from the throttle body) is longer than it is supposed to be. The hoses that came with the intake are too small to fit on the intake tube, so I had to use 15/32" heater hose. Because that kinks if bent enough to have it straight there, I have it looped around before going to the intake tube, so it looks kind of like a 6.......Could that be an issue?

Also, does anyone know where I could get some 15/32" silicone hose from? None of the automotive stores have it...they carry APC's 10mm silicone hose.

Well, I let it warm up and everything. It doesn't do it when it is cold, the idle stays around 1,300 or so. Once it warms up is when it drops down and tries to die. I am thinking it is an electrical problem, seems like something with the battery or such. I am taking it to autozone to have them run some scans on it tomorrow. Hopefully its nothing big lol.

Figured out what the problem was....When I installed my air intake, I accidentally cut a wire that was leading to the injectors on the top of my block. I found that, hooked it back up, and no more problem.
