My car idles around 600-650 while in drive, I notice that it shakes when at a stop sign or red light and i have to give a little gas for it to idle smooth. Is there a part you would reccomend changing, Im guessing there is probly a few things that would cause this?

My car does the same thing.

After I get it running, (still not completely at running temp yet) it seems to run @ 800 rpm or under usually. The whole car seems to vibrates when it drops to 500 or 600. After she warms up it sputters once and a while. Not constantly mind you...just like a miss here and there (I'd say every minute it sputters 5-10 times or so).

I think part of my problem is a bad injector (or two). Once the snow stops here for good, I'm gonna try the test I've seen done before where you pull the plug on each injector one at a time and if the car runs the same then thats the problem.

But I have a feeling it may also be a coil pack problem (or both ).

I'd say if I were you I'd replace the plugs, wires, cap and rotor 1st(if you haven't already. Thats what I did when I 1st bought my car. It ran rough until I changed those and it saw a major improvement with just that done. That is probably the cheapest way to start.

After that if you still have problems I'd work on checking the injectors and coil packs next.

Thanks, I have changed the spark plugs, umm i wanna say about a year and a half ago, Ive also changed the cap and rotor probably around the same time. The wires have never been changed, i think they might be the stock wires too, so ill try to change them soon, Also when i drive like 30mph and less i can feel it missing. On highway driving it drives smooth.

Same here as well.

Buzzing around town I can feel it but once I jump on the highway its not a problem.

Hopefully someone has actually fixed this problem to know specifically what it is!!

did you fix the problem? I have the same symptom when I put it on Drive. If I stop it stays at exactly 600rpm. If I put it on P it goes back to around 750rpm-800rpm.

You might have a bad Idle Control Valve. Also, you can adjust your idle with a screwdriver on the driver's side of the ecu, down by the gas pedal.
