I recently did a turbo install among other things to include and EGR and PVC removal. The PVC is still there but goes though a catch can now (old PVC ports are plugged).

The car idles fine, no hunting or surging, it just idles low like 500 RPMs. it seem to idle a little better when warm. The problem is that when the RPM's drop the car stalls, if this didn't happen I wouldn't mind how low it's idling, I would even prefer it, it's a gentle purr.

The timing has been manipulated to every degree with no benefit then returned to its proper setting.

While idling I've adjusted the throttle position sensor to the most agreeable setting.

I have adjusted the AICV, I can get it to bring down the idle some more but not up.

There are no vacuum leaks that I can find with a hose to my ear or by spraying starter fluid all around the IM. The Blitz turbo timer/boost gage reads -.69 hkPa, can anyone tell me if thats normal or not.

The car does not seem to compensate anymore for cold starts, I think that is the AICV's job but not sure, if anyone knows please advise.

The car also runs fine while the FAL electric fans turn on for cooling and when the A/C is on.

I have the same problem. Still havent resolved it, and i got about 10 different answers on how to fix it. Try going through older threads with the same issue, you might get some more answers there.

I just took apart my IACV and soaked the body of it in throttle body cleaner then went through the rest of the parts like I was cleaning my gun, I'll let you know how that pans out tomorrow. one of the plungers in the IACV was stuck.

You should check your fuses, maybe that could be causing the problem, I tell you this cause it used to do it to my car and found out one of my fuses was burn out, I changed it and problem solved. If not than just used a scanner to get a code and check what the problem may be.
