Low idle? nissan altima

My 2003 Nissan Altima has a very low idle. It's been idling at anywhere from 300-800rpm but it never stalls or dies. The normal idle for my car is around 1,00rmp. Does anyone know if it is a problem or bad for the car if it idles really low?

700 rpm in neutral or putting drive is normal or when idling at stops anything above 750 will turn on the check engine lite. Idle must set at dealer called idle volume learning if it gets out of specs and throttle body may have to be replaced.
