Low Fuel Warning

I have an 08 Coupe and I am on my second tank of gas. On the way to work this morning, I started getting the flashing display that told me I have 25 miles to go on the remaining fuel in the gas tank. I also saw a little icon with an exclamation point in it. Is this a low fuel warning combo or is there a separate low fuel icon that will come on? I just want to make sure the little exclamation point icon is related to the fuel getting low or if it is about something else? Or does the exclamation come on anytime the information display alerts to a change?

The exclamation point is in relation to your low fuel. It is a universal icon that is used for a few other indications on your dashboard.
