What's it mean when the "low fuel" warning comes on (with half a tank)?
I shut the car off and removed/replaced the fuel cap, restarted car, no message... Then it came on again the next day... Car runs like a bat out of hell, BTW.

The low fuel is a separate sensor in the tank activating when 2.5 gallons remain........its positioning on the pump support is EXTREMELY CRITICAL.Common problem when inexperienced replace a fuel pump.

What if the pump's never been replaced?
I plan to take it in for warranty replacement anyway - It's starting to make a pneumatic "pumping" sound (great description, eh?) when started hot and whines when started cold...
