Low fuel indicator light

Hello there fellow S chassis owners. Im not entirely sure as to why my low fuel warning indicator light is on (yes I made sure I have fuel in my tank) Even with a full tank it still stays on. The light is barely on as if only a low amount of voltage is getting to the bulb, not like how bright you would see the parking brake light indicator. I changed the bulb to brand new ones and still the same thing. During the day you cant even notice its on but its there and at night is when I first realized its constantly on. Is my fuel gauge faulty or my sensor or something completely different? TIA!
