well, i installed my new koyo radiator, used about 50/50 coolant, water mix and went on my way. the factory temp gauge has been about a third of the way up instead of the normal half way. but last night the temp dropped outside and i was driving home from work on the freeway when i noticed the temp gauge sitting right around the bottom of the C on the factory gauge. i'm going to unplug my e fan tonight and see if that helps to bring them back up to proper temp but is there any major problems i face with running such low temps?

it can damage the engine in the long run if you run it cold at all times.

might be that your thermostat got stuck open and with the rad, its just too much cooling, or it might be that your temp gauge is either disconnected or not working propertly.

Hes right, the factory nissan thermostat will fail in the open position. This will cause the engine to warm up extremely slow, and will also cause your idle to rise. A good way to fix this is to take out the thermostat, place it in boiling water with a thermomoter to see when and if it opens.

dont trust the oem temp gauge. Is uselessGet aftermarket or read the temp from the ECU via a techtom or Multichecker.
