Low Consult Voltage

Problem: Was running consult on my laptop and noticed the voltage around 13. Checked the battery and it was 14.4V.

Manually checked ECU voltage is 10.67 when battery is 11.7.

What could it be?

When you checked the voltage at eh battery you probably went directly to the battery terminals right?

If your ground or positive was loose /dirty the terminl voltage will be differant from the cable voltage. and yes it can be off by a volt or more.

Check both ends of your battery cables for clean tight connections. Other than that check all grounds.

I got the voltage from the cables.

Connections are tight and clean.

I think this is more of an ECCS relay/wiring issue.

Well I failed to check the EGI fuse and low and behold it was blown.

What a noob.
