So my nephew severely overheated his 2000 altima to the point where the head is badly warped and put a hairline crack in the cylinder wall…
I found a junk yard motor, the ONLY motor i could find locally, and compression tested it COLD with a battery and starter, got 120, 120, 110, 110… Obviously the important thing is that they are the same which is GOOD but the question is, for a cold motor, is this ok..?? Its not going to be boosted at all, just a normal daily driven car… Is this motor in good condition..??

Minimum assuming the engine is warmed up is 149 PSI at 300 RPM's (Starter turning the engine at 300 RPM's.) The standard is 178PSI/300RPM's. So I would say it may burn a little bit of oil but it should be fine.
