Low Air pressure indicator

This is the first vehicle for me that has the low air pressure indicator light. Are they really very sensitive ?
Tires look fine but the light comes on due to a 2-3 psi drop due to temperature. Is this normal? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :gapteeth: :naughty: :mike

If you're right on the edge of being low, a temperature drop will do it. The rule of thumb I've heard is that 10 degrees of change in the outdoor temperature will change the tire by one PSI. I'm not sure if your truck does it, but I found out that our 4Runner monitors the spare tire too.
