well my car is slow. i ran a low 16 on the 1/4 this last weekend. i have a boost leak.... the car has a welded diff nismo trans mount, fmic, 3 inch exhaust.. sr20det powered. does this time sound about right? what should i expect when i get the bosst leak fixed???

it really depends on many factors like your launch, tires, clutch, shifting, setup.....but i would say getting leak fixed and boosting 7 psi...mid 14

tires are not really performance tires, so thats a problem. i had the tire presure at like 26 psi, im not sure if thats good or bad. clutch was ok. i shift at 7200-7400 rpms. and i waw launching at kinda a high rpm so im thinking thats not too good, what would be a good rpm to launch at? well this was my fist time at the drag strip with my 240 so i'll be learning more about the feel of the car more as soon as i get back on the track.

don't have expectations. fix the leak and then get a baseline for what you're doing at the track.

k gotch i really didnt know what to expect. but yeah im gonna order me some ic piping from piping pro.com and see if i can take care of that boost problem then i'll see what my time is after that not to mention im gonna get some better performance tires. i forgot to mention that i also have a one piece drive shaft (steel) thats alot light than the stock so that should help out too. thanks for replying
