Happy New Year Everyone.

I drove to my mother's for the holidays. Filled up the tank just before we left and drove over 450 miles and still have lots of gas. check this pic to see for yourself. I don't have much negative to say about this car. I have the same issues as everyone. The moving driver's seat and some various noises, but am slowly getting it all worked out. but check out the mpg.

My nissan provides More "smiles" per gallon also. I'm glad I bought it.

Finally someone appreciating and giving respect to the 2.5.....with gas prices soaring, heres a perfect example of a good reason to have a 2.5 with plenty of get up and go for it's class!

good job!

Happy New Year!

That is great-and probably with 87 octane as well!

I just took a 300 mile trip in my 3.5 averaged 60 MPH and ended up getting 27.9.

I slowed down a bit after getting my first ticket (82 in a 65)

I live in and FL and drove up to Ocala just the other week which is about 2 1/2 hours from winter haven fl where I live and BARELY used a quarter tank. Not only does the car get great gas mileage it has good acceleration when needed! I haven't quite gotten to "33.8" mpg but I've made it to "31"!! (I had a nissan frontier before I bought the Altima... Can you say 15 mpg!!!

I've seen so many complaints about the car on different forums, and I must say I really don't identify. Like I mentioned I've had a few tiny things that I would like to change. All in All this car is Really Great. Great Mileage. It's a very pleasing car to drive and to look at. I do think that MPG Gauge is a tiny bit optimistic, BUT looking at how much gas is left in the tank, and the fact I went 478 Miles. I'm thinking it's gotta be pretty close to accurate. I routinely get excellent mileage, but this trip the mileage was extraordinary. If you drive with economy in mind, this car especially with the CVT Will Deliver.

Thanks for the posts and I'm really enjoying the forum.

Happy New Year and Cheers to one and allRed

hello everyone! i just leased my nissan altima coupe about a week ago and i am inlove with it. i got the 2.5 as well and i havent put gas in the car since. i need to get pictures up here, but i got it with the convience package and aluminum Kick Plates, and floor mats. im going to get the windows tinted about 20 percent. i got a quote for 100 dollars to do the 2 windows and the 2 little windows only, i dont want the rear done.

do any of you know a good place or website where i could look for accesories for the car? i want to purchase clear floor mats but i dont know where to look.

thank you,lauren

I also own the 2.5S sedan. you are absolutely right about the gas mileage. It is pretty great for long trips. Also, the 2.5 is peppy enough for everyday driving. While I will say I love the extra 100 ponies in my 3.5, for everyday traffic driving, I actually like the 2.5 better. Also, maybe I'm the only one, but I'm still not in love with the "sport suspension" of the 3.5 w/ prem.pack... and I'm not downing it completely, its just that after driving both vehicles multiple times per week, I like the feel of the 2.5 better. Ok 3.5s, flame away!

yes that's the Altima coupe.. the picture you see on ebay is my car, that's the guy I purchased my kit from and I gave him permission to use my picture of the kit installed.

yes I did it myself, but to do it right, it takes a couple of hours to properly prep all the parts. Also, you have to warm the vehicle and warm the trim pieces.

My mpg looks similar to yours...

I had the tire pressure sensor go off last week. It could be because of low ambient temp outside. I just pumped them back up to 35psi (cold) and the sensor went off.

I love my A/C even more now that I figured out how to get the damn passenger seat to stop rattling. I was worried that it was an internal mechanism but its just the seat belt rattling agains tthe door and the seat. I just put a new button higher up so it sits above the seat. Too bad my sunroof is starting to rattle. . .

For a nail you went to the dealer? Im suprised they didnt tell you you needed a new tire!

One of my friends has a little altoids size tin with a few plugs (looks like sour straws) and a divot tool... and a can of compressed air

Ive have had a tire plugged before, but he wants to be able to do it and go quick...

Recommended is 32, but I put mine at 35 because it goes down a bit afterwards.
