So... Here I Go again. Doing something that has probably done time after time by many owners in the past. So what makes this better or different? Well, it's done by me! Lmfao..
So let's get started!!

First, I just realized.. Man , I just don't have enough red in my engine bay?! Lol so I went and spent I say $35 in three different sizes Wire Looms. Of course in red! Not going to go into too much detail. Cause if ya don't know how to do something like this, then ya need to pick a new hobby! Or I it's not your thing, then just simply ignore my enite topic I am posting and go read something else! :) I say that with love not hating! Ok just going to post up some before nd after shots mostly.

*side note.. I learned after doing this that, it's really not that easy. And can be a big mess! A lot if rotten OEM wire loom was trashed. And some crusty electrical tape! Just saying, if your going to tackle this be prepared!

So pretty much get the basic picture. You'll see the rest of the wire loom project in the overall pics with the painting og the plenum project.

After I spent two days doing the wire loom project. I sat there starring at my engine bay. And realizing, man, I got all this nice visuals but one thing is just not pulling it together! Oh yeah! That damn plenum! Lol
Seeming at this point in life being unemployed and all my projects are funded by selling or recycling unused parts from previous vehicles I have had in the past. I wanted eventually want a polished plenum. But for now, and was also suggested I do it like this for now, I will paint the plenum. Choose black and used the brush type caliper paint from Duplicolor. It's easy to use, self leveling. When it cures it'll look better. I also tested that theory on my radiator upper and lower water pipes. Turned out awesome!

So here is the preparation I took to get the plenum ready. I did all this without removing it! It was a challenge it certain areas, but took two days to do. I finished it up actually today.
Here are some misc shots:

Removed the Twin Turbo plate. Not planning to put it back on. But if I ever did, I'll order a newer one, due to mine had some undesirable scratches.

Just showing on what all I did to prepare. Which honestly just removed the strut bar, the throttle cable cover. Taped up the throttle bodies, and just loosen some things cause at this point I was being lazy.. Lol

As you can see I manage to get only have way. Figured I finished the rest the next day.

Here are some shot of it all painted and done, but without the strut bar. To show this who would like to see it without one on.

So here are the before the wire loom and paint project took place and what it all loos as of today! To show you the difference between the two. IMHO, I absolutely love it! And enjoyed doing it as well. It was fun. Although, I did start late today due to issues with my robotic parts in my back were malfunctioning. Which I sm implying my pain pacemaker. So yeah, a little scare for me. But I am ok now for this who do care to know. My car is my physical therapy! Lol anyways, enjoy the rest of my pics!

Ps!
In between both projects. I manage to finally find a locksmith to come to my house and cut my titanium 300zx key. I know that's nit a big deal to some. But I was so happy! And it literally freaked him out cause the material was really hard to cut. But the guy did a great job and even gave me an extra normal key as a backup. Not bad for $40 onsite work I must say!
