You can do that even with a base model car?my_new_v wrote:Get an aftermarket deck or go to the stealership and buy one of the SL radios.
No I want one. So badly. and YES@not having a trunk release button. What the ****? I locked my keys in the trunk once and had to go to the dealer to get another setponygt65 wrote:lol..you don't like the auxilary...i CAN"T STAND not having a trunk release in the car. that is the STUPIDEST thing I've come across on any car.
+1 on aftermarket readio.
What would make it feel like "you"?CKinslow wrote: I love my car and it's my very first car. But I don't feel like it represents "me". I wanna modify it but I don't know where to start.
Looks very nice. Don't know if I want something like that (Movie watching) in the car. But it's something to investigateziadc wrote:I like your car's color , I think better you install double Din 7" DVD player instead of the versa S stupid radio.

Nah not really into having a giant *** box taking my trunk space. Just would like to have that mp3 hookup but most aftermarket places said Nissan cars need antennas or whatever in order for it to workAPEXi240 wrote:

Are you an audiophile? Get a very intense sound system.
Are you an outdoorsman? Throw a roof rack on it for your bikes/surfboards/kayaks.
Are you loud and tacky? Slap on some chrome 16s and neons.
Are you in to performance vehicles? Sell it whenever you can and get something that can perform.
Oh no I'm buying it.jrw1621 wrote:Did you "buy" the Versa or are you leasing it? If you are leasing it (essentially renting it) then I would be careful. Be prepared to return any modifications back to stock before you have to return the car.
For now, I would recommend a used Factory radio out of a wrecked SL. This will get you a 6 disk changer and an Aux port. If you search http://www.car-parts.com you will see that you can get one for $150. Once installed (which is just plug in wires) it will look "factory correct" and best of all, no one will want to steal it.
You may also search ebay and find a used radio from an Versa SL there.
Exactly. Used cars that are completely stock down to hubcaps sell the most easily.Offshore1 wrote:I understand what you mean when you state: it doesn't feel like "me".
The V is an ok car. Gotta remember that is is an entry level car that was purpose built for economy and room while delivering a pleasant driving experience.
It isn't a sports carIt isn't fastIt isn't bigIt isn't very s*** isn't machoetc - you get the picture.
Given the above - it is a nice, economical, reliable car. If it is your first car, it likely won't get you in trouble either - but will be cheap to own, which is important for a first car. Save the temptation to spend lots of cash/time to make it something that it isn't. All that will do is make worth less money and make it hard to sell.

If it doesn't feel like you, you can see if they are willing to give a deal on a leftover '08 Sentra or Altima (or something) and kill the lease on it.
