Sorry man I think you'll have to go broke unless you strip the interior and sell it at a swap meet. You could make a couple hundred from that. But to answer your question I've heard that the best thing you can buy for your max performance wise is a Y-pipe but those get a little pricey. That pretty much all I know you'll have to wait for someone more experienced to set you straight.

Like duccati said, y-pipe will get you the most horsepower per dollar. If you are interested check out this thread http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....9617. I beleive they are around $175 + shipping, which is a pretty damn good price.

Yep. #1 bang for the buck on the 4th gen is the Y-pipe...

How about a tune-up? That thing has at best a 3.8 v6 boat anchor. I would think you'd be able to beat it easy. Those W-Body's are pretty damn slow short of a L67 swap from a GTP.

And yes, I have some experience with them. My first car was a 97 Lumina.

The L67 motor is the 3.8 V6 that is factory supercharged, a-la the eaton (m90 I think) blower. It can be found in the 97+ Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (and 97+ Buick Regal ..can't remember the trim model..), newer Impala SS, and now I think as an option in a variety of other pretty new GM FWD sedans (bonneville, Monte Carlo, etc. come to mind)

Not much to do as far as basic stuff. You should probably pull 1 spark plug to check if you have platinums (NGK). If you do, they should be replaced approximately every 60,000 miles. The coil packs are good until they go bad, and turn on the check engine light. Hope they don't go bad...they're very co$tly. You can check/replace the EGR valve. Check all fluids, if any are particularly dirty/discolored, take it somewhere and have a flush done...drain and refill doesn't always cut it. The best thing you could do is to go buy a Chiltons or Hayes service manual for your car (try somewhere like Barnes and Noble). I'm sorry if this isn't much help to you.

under $400... used Nitrous express wet kit and NGK one-step colder plugs. hehe

You should be smacking him around on the street though. Those MC Z34's are DOGS.
