I am really unhappy with my color choice of daytona Blue.

On the showroom floor, it looked a lot better because there was a lot of shade on the car, plus the Nismo wheels were on it then.

With the stock wheels, in sunligh,t its a cheap looking color I think. As seen on Focus, Neon and a number of other cheap cars.

When I was at a Z meet, the other day, I saw 350s in silverstone and liquid aluminum and other colors.

Every single one of them made the car look both classier and more hardcore (a seemingly impossible feat)

Should I trade it back in for another color and take a $3000-4000 hit (as there are already 800 miles on the car)?

Get a repaint?Or get an overspray to convert it to purple (if thats possible, ...I read of a show car that converted a blue to a purple like that)

Or should I advertise it for a switch?I hear some folks like the Daytona blue there, have to be some out there with a Silverstone or that might want to switch with a superlow mile Enthusiast 6 speed? For any color Z other than Blue?

Take the $3000 that you would lose to swap colors and just buy the Nismo wheels instead. Personally I love the Daytona Blue, and it looks downright sick witht he bronze LM4s on it.

Can you link me to those LMH4's?

Experimenting with wheels to get wheels that fit the color better, is another option I considered.

First time I saw it, it had the Nismo wheels on it and the car looked smashing.

IMO the grey stock wheels detract a lot from the car in this color.

This might be a vialble solution.

I have come to terms with the color, everyone likes it and at night it looks smashing IMO.

For daytime looks, I will just get a nice set of hi end rims from a NICO sponsor, that work better with the color come spring.

Fred the whole point of having a *New car is that you get to break it in and do it right. Giving this one up now is out of the question. You will grow to love the Blue trust me.

That's the model number of the Nismo optional wheels - LM4. I believe they are made by Volk/ ray's Engineering. We Z32 guys were oogling them before the Z33 came to market.
