dude, these past few days have been oddly welcoming. i mean sure it happens to all of us every now and then, but i didn't expect it to happen to me three times in a row.

so i'm drivin to my gf's house valentines day to pick her up and spend some time in frisco, and while i'm on 280 south, there's this aztec red 240 that passes me by, slowing down only for a bit so that we were even and when i looked over he gave me the good ol' and i thought, yeah its nice to tip your hat to other 240 drivers. of course in good will i 'd him back. the next evening through the pouring rain, i didn't realize that i was following a black 240 down Capital Expressway from Oakridge until I pulled up next to him. Dude had a clean 240, looked like it was lowered and had some nice bronze rims, yellow head lights, just lookin classic and clean. he looked over at me and gave me the and i naturally responded back to him with my own when i ended up going around him to the other side so i could get ahead of traffic. its nice, driving by a 240 enthusiast in the rain, no matter the downpour.I couldn't help it this morning, bringing my girlfriend to work, noticing another black 240 turning onto Ocala from Capital Expressway as I jumped onto the expressway from ocala. Again we caught each other's view and maybe cause this time we were both asain, we threw up peace signs as each other while i rounded the corner.

three cars in three days and they all threw up respect sings to me and my hood paint peelin, front bumper no valance, keyed up driver and passanger sides, gettin old and broken down but everlovin 240.

i just had to share the experience with you guys. 3 days, 3 cars, all enthusiasts.

If I ever see you when I'm down that way I'll make sure to say what's up.

I miss the bay area. Born in San Jose and went to HS in south side San Jose. I've been lots of places and 240 drivers are about the same everywhere I go. When I lived in GA, I even had a 240 driver follow me home just to talk to me about 240's. When I lived in WA, I always get props from other 240 drivers and even lots of other non 240 drivers. Sacramento and Stockton was all the same too. When I come upon Honda drivers, most of them always wanted to race though.
