well after a long hiatus ... (hadn't been to the board in like 2 months *smacks self* i know i know)

i might make it to the pre-meet. but no $ to kart.

and the pre-meet, so early if i get out of bed in time, it IS only 10 minutes away.

You better get out there.Remember you don't have to ride Go Karts just come down and hang out!

The NICO meet today was a whole lot of fun! We didn’t have the attendance that I was expecting. There were a lot of people on many boards that posted about coming out and having fun but didn’t show. You know who you are…no hard feelings but you did miss out on a great day. Here is who came out to play...

We chilled at Tom Sawyer from 10ish to about 11:45am then road down to Shepardsville and ate lunch. Then we went to Kart Kountry and had a blast riding the Go Karts. We also took out a few balls in the batting cage and wasted who knows how many quarters in the video games. On the track it was Chris wo ended up coming in first most of the time. Most of us were out there to get a bit crazy as we did. There were more than one cart in the dirt each time out. I took off roar once to advoid running a smaller Kart off the road. The same thing happend to Jen, and I know Chris had the experience of off roading also(cause I pushed him there...) Matt pushed a Kart to its limit and it was smoking like crazy...Oh yeah dont get the white one that smokes! All in all it was an awesome day. It looks like fun as usual! I'm sorry I missed it, but I'll try to make the next one. My employer told me not to deposit my paycheck until Monday, so that put a damper on this weekend for me.

Did anyone go on an excursion while riding the karts? Ala TheTony-style? LOL.

When is the next L-ville meet? I might try to make it.

Also...just bought a house in Elizabethtown with my cousin (he was at the BG NICO meet w/ the blue Civic Si, bronze rims, CF hood, KAAZ LSD w/ 4.98 gears) so I should be lurking in Louisville fairly often in the future.

Sweet Chris! Did you check out that building that I was talking about?I got some informatin from the owner if your at all interested send me an E-mail.

As far as a Louisville meet.There is a Louisville Streets meet this sunday the 14th 2:00pm at E.P Tom Sawyer park in the east end of louisville.

We are working on an Indy meet in Oct. Stay tuned for more details.

I know I keep saying "i'll try to make the next one" and i never show, but I really want to go to one SOMETIME. So yes, when is the next meet, if you have decided yet?

Dang I was too slow. No Indy for me, thats too far, heh. Louisville would be perfect. Just keep me us informed. Obviously wouldn't be able to make it this Saturday because I dont have my car fixed yet. But after she gets fixed is when I will start trying to make it up.

OK people!I know Fred is wanting to get together when he gets back.He is having NICO withdraw.So we will tray and have a mini Meet ont the 4th or 5th.We will let you know ASAP!

The Oct meet is going to be in INDY.A cookout at a park on Sat the 18th 2003.A caravan can mostlikely be arranged.Here is the thread with the info!

-True-The weekend of the 4th is looking like just a Fri or Sat night at "the Lot" (an old winn dixie parking lot that a bunch of the Lousiville Streets people hang out at on the weekends).Its really calm and we usually have some cops there to make sure nothing bad happens.I don't know how many NICO people will be there though.
