We had a great turnout today for the Nico meet. There so many high HP cars there.More turbo sentras than I have ever seen in one place lots of Spec V's tuns of Maximas an Altima several sweet 240's a few 350z's and a Skyline.

There were a few non Nissan cars there as well.

Here are the pics that I took.http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288580539

It definately was a good turnout. Glad to see that my plan of getting all the turbo sentras there worked out, along with the two turbo 240's. Then at last the SKYLINE rolled in. It's just completely different in person than on the web or in Grand Turismo(HAHA):D

Too bad I couldnt make it..:(

Dane did u tell everyone I was still stuck in a plane?I got in at 5:30 pm.

The pics look great! Our regional meets scene keeps growing!

I just wish I could have made it, I especially ordered+ bought 2 cases of a hard to find, fully turbo compatible full synthetic group IV + Group V winter oil.

One case would have beeen a gift whoever drove furthest to be with us, and the other case raffled off in the traditional free NICO raffle.

I just finished gpoing thru all the pics. What an aboslutely excellent group of cars.

All relevant categories were represented (except for a dearth of Infinti Q45's+G35's this meet, both in stark contrast to last meet).

Sentra's, many guests from other brands with great cars, also S13's, S14's w or w/o FI, Maximas old and classy or new and edgy (2k4!!), even a Skyline came!!!

Stock or heaviliy modded it was all there!

Now to plan for the mother of all NICO meets: the SPRING 2004 Meet!I will bring donuts, sodas and as so often 2 cases of rare + expensive oils to give away!

Fred...:)

Missed ya being there Fred. Up until I heard you weren't going to be able to make it, I was expecting to hear your Q's roar from down the road on its way to meet up with everyone. I'm sure the spring meet will be large, if not larger than this one hopefully. Think Louisville would be the best place to have it, seeing as how we got such an amazing turnout this weekend?

yea, i figured the owner was an active NICO member because of all the pics. i really like the look of your car. and those rims you have look very similar to the fn01r-c that im going to get this upcoming week, hopefully. i wasnt really sure if the wheels would look good on my car but after seeing yours ive decided it will look excellent.

Those *are* the fn01rc's :) I got 245/45-17 tires. I recomend 245/40's. The 45's are a bit tall for my taste's, but I got Nitto555r tires, so I'm not complaining that much. It still looks real good, and handles amazing. Offset #'s are 35mm up front, 25 in the rear on a 17"x8" wheel.

Fred I am working on our BIG Spring meet.I think that it will take place in Clay City KY.They have a great 1/4 mile track from what i'm told.It will start in Louisville with a pre-meet then move to Lexington for another pre-meet.After that we will go to Clay City for the track event.More details to come!;)

Hmm.....where is Clay City? Up close to Lexington? The way we were driving today, if I have to do that again for a even longer distance, I think the KA would die ;)

why did you decide to go with the 25mm offset in the rear? it seems the 35mm offset on 17x8 works all around on the s14. i wasnt even considering a 245 wide tire. i didnt even think it would fit. ill have to look it over and see which size to get. also, how much did you pay and where did you buy your wheels. thanks

Indeed! Even a Cadillac showed up for the meet. Hehe.

The cold was kind of a buzzkill for a lot of people. Pretty much the opposite of the June Indy meet which was hotter than hell. I am regretful of the lack of communication regarding lunch but I didn't realize everyone would take off that soon.

There were some killer rides there. I am amazed at the number of turbo Sentras in the Louisville area. If I were going to do another Nissan aside from the 240, it would be an SE-R. It sucks that as I left Saturday morning to go to the meet, I was looking at the Q45 sitting next to my 240 in my parents' driveway. I really wanted to bring the Q, but the steering rack is in dire need of replacement and makes it dangerous to drive. The 240 needs plates and an alignment. It had a tie rod replaced after the tow truck driver tried to tow it by attaching a hook around the original tie rod. Dumbass.

Hopefully for the spring meet the Q will be cherry and the 240 breathing fire like the Louisville Sentras and 240's.
