Hey Steve. Yeah I already have it. I was one of the first to get it and installed it. It works great. Shortens it by about 30 percent. Cullen Felt the shift knob... He like it.ssheltz wrote:Hey Dave....There is now an STS for your car:http://forums.maxima.org/showt...pp=30
Congratulations. I'm sure you will enjoy your max. Sounds like a great first car.88redmax wrote:hi everyone! im getting my first car on sunday, an 88 maxima gxe, cant drive yet becasue still dont have lisense but once i have it i hope to come to a car meet or somthing one day, btw happy new year

Well, the car IS 16 years old. Unless it's been stored away it would need some work, and things will break. Any time I owned a car more than 8 years old I seemed to spend an awful lot on repairs just from parts wearing out.88redmax wrote:seems the car is to much trouble and my parents are cheep so i cant get the max, oh well
Did you get it lined out Steve?ssheltz wrote:GRRRRR... installing O2 sim today... What does Nissan use for wires in these harnesses?? they are about 5 strands thick and don't bend. Can't solder them.Looks like I'm going to have to take the harness up to a radio shop to have the chip soldered in while the car is disabled.
No, you didnt' miss anything here. Have a good trip? Get any pics in the Great White North?Fezzik wrote:Hey guys. How are things going. Hope I didnt miss too much by being away. everyone have a good newyear???? how about a good christmas?
Scott, what do you mean "right"? The engine runs laterally. which right?maxhopper97 wrote:IIRC bank 1 is the right, bank 2 is the left. Sensor 1 should be closest to the exhaust manifold, with sensor 2 downstream. I'll verify in a couple hours, I'm going in to work to change my oil later.
Edit: if you guys aren't busy today, I'm trying to get some people together around 4:30 at Jillians. Hope you can make it. http://www.502streetscene.net/...26584
Cool. then I got the right sensor for the problem. Now, I either hooked up the MIL eliminator wrong, or it just doesn't work.Casper's is sending me a different MIL eliminator to try out, slightly different circuit to depress the signal more.maxhopper97 wrote:Right side is in the back of the motor.
