The thread we had last year went 287 posts and 2615 views. It was working really good but after a while became too large to be effective so hence the new one. Please check in on this thread for lots of local events and meets.

ThanksDane

Keep us updated; me and everet (has the red '97 240) might try to head to some this summer. We were actually wanting to get one going in BG here sometime in the near future. Try to get some people to come and run at Beech Bend. I have been out there a couple times this year and the track is feeling good.

Yup will do Ben.

I would like to run at the Bend this year as well.I still need to get back up to Mt. Park and run there also.

There will be lots of smaller (I say small but you know how we do it in Louisville) meets and some cool outings.

How about planning something for the wekend of May 22 & 23. I was thinking maybe a cookout somewhere on saturday, and do a little road trip here http://www.mpdragway.com/carwars.htm on Sunday. I thought it would be a nice show of appreciation to both HPH (an import sponser at the track) as well as MPD for extending a warm (yet wet) hand to us in March. Just a thought.

Well it looks like we need to role out of Louisville early Sunday morning. Like 7:30/8:00am.We can meet at the Meijers on Preston hwy that we all know so well.

As far as the cookout on Saturday. E.P. Tom Sawyer park is a pretty good place. Or there is the purple lot on river road that I have herd about but never been to.I will most likely have a hard time making it to both but will try.

You two hook up the cook out just incase I can't make it.I will start spreading the word.

For EP Tom Sawyer, do we need to get permission from metro parks department?

You don't need permission from the Parks department - it's a public park. I'm heading to VA that weekend to pick up another Z (81 280ZX), so I won't be able to make it.

It's not really a restoration candidate, so I'll probably strip it down to taunt Andrew in EM with at SCCA events ;) Eventually I will probably do a motor swap of some sort for some dirty PAR.
