Unfortunatly I might me moving to Lousiana soon. I really dont want to leave cali but I might have to go to where the work is. How do you guys like it there? everyone tells me I will hate it after spending my whole life in california. But the cost of living is supposed to be alot better.

well ironically enough i used to live in Los angeles, (but from here), and i like it here, but its cuz i dont really know much else, cali is WAY nicer, the cost of living is obviously much cheaper, but so is the avg income, if ur used to the prestige of cali, itll take a while to adjust to louisiana, i am a bit out in the 'country' tho, so its nice, not much traffic and such, nice people here, although some are still illiterate (sp?), and u wont see any ferraris (well not many) or vipers cruising the streets here, however, this does make it easier to be king of the track, as most 'street racers' here cant get out of low 13s, and there arent many big turbo'd top end supras here either, im sure itll take some getting used to , but its a nice place to call home, but why are u moving here for work, if u cant find a place in CALI, u SURELY wont find a place here, so what do u do for a livin, or are u parents movin and u gotta go too??

I am a commercial diver. I would be moving there to work in the gulf of mexico mostly diving on the oil rigs and oil pipelines. There is diving work in cali but its a lot harder to get a steady job doing it, but thats what I am hoping for. In the gulf you basicly just show up in the summer and they send you offshore a few days later.

damn, somebody on here should seriously buy that. An s14a 5 speed with 17000 miles for only 9 grand. People are asking like 12 g's for automatics with 4 times the milage. You should post the info in the buy sell forum so someone can snatch it up.
