I did a search and all I could find was posts with regards to fan amp, however, my question is not due to the fan not working... it works fine in all speeds.

Edit:But as the a/c-heater fan is turned on, there is this constant purring noise it makes. I checked more closely and the fan speeds up as you set it to higher, and slows down as you set it to lower, but the constant purring is there. How does one get to the fan/s to check?
