So my car has developed a high pitch whine comign from the FPR area. It only happens when i'm boosting more than 1psi i guess. Because it wont do it if i'm driving REALLY slow and not boosting at all. But my neighbor told me that its coming from the pvc pipe. But I dont know what could be the cause of it. I changed the hose. Why would it be making that noise? unless there's a hole on the actual pipe itself? Does anyone have pictures from under the intake manifold by anycahnce?

anyhow, most likely its a boost leak someplace. start checking everything.. knew a guy whose engine had this banshee like wail, sounded mean as hell.. it was just barely enough of a leak someplace that it acted like a flute/reed and the hose that was leaking was vibrating at a high pitch..

hrmm ok its the 4th injector i think. I sprayed carb cleaner and the motor reved up better.

Change all those injector grommets soon or you'll have a roasted S-car one of these days.

ok my problem was my intake manifold gasket. Caused me to have crappy idle, whistling when boosting and high pitch whistle at idle too after the car was warmed up.
