HI guys,

I'm having this wierd problem with my 5AT G. This problem only occur if a car parked for a long time. I backed up my car and come to full stop. Change to drive gear and turn my steering wheel to the right. when a car start to move forward that is when i heard a one loud thud noise (this only happen if i go to the right and after backing up). Greatly appreaciate for any input.

I think this is still the ABS self check. Does it have a thud with a slight "springy" sound to it?

To me, it sounds like my foot slipped off one of the pedals and the pedal came up too fast.

Good way to describe that sound Beano!

Now I know how to explain that lol!

I think we would need you to give us better description on what the sound is and where it is coming from!

Do some research for yourself with someone else in the car and you outside of it!

It sounds like compression rods to me. It usually occurs when turning or when the body is torqued like driving into or out of a parking lot.
