Loud sunroof motor when tilt

Have had my 2011 Rogue SL for almost 3 years now, starting this summer I noticed the sunroof motor sounds louder than before when I put it in tilt but not so much when open fully, but probably because I hardly have it open all the way.

Anyhow, would a clean & lube fix this or the motor is going on me?
