when i turn my z on after it sits for a while it makes a loud squeeling noise, a friend of mine said it might be a loose fan belt but does anybody else have any clue and if so what does it cost to fix, if heard the sound before on other cars but never knew wat it was and just asumed it was a sound that ****ty cars made

Sounds like a belt. The Z has three belts, the only good way to fix it is to replace the belt.

which belt is it? how much would it be to replace all the belts i did a timing belt replacement last month, do i have to pull my engine out for the other ones? or is it like a 2 or 3 hour job?

When you did your t-belt, you should have also installed new accessory drive belts. If you didn't, you should have. If you did, they're probably just a little loose and need to be tightened a little.

If you paid someone to do your t-belt, take the car back to them and tell them to properly re-adjust the belts.

Here is how to tell which belt is loose..

If it happens when you start the car, and especially when you turn the headlights on, it's usually the water pump / alternator belt.

If it happens when you turn the wheels sharply, it's usually the p/s pump belt.

If it happens when you turn the a/c on ....... well, you get it I hope.

Could easily be the alternator belt. It has to be adjusted a lot tighter than you might imagine compared to most cars. It took 3 adjustments to get mine to stop after replacing my alternator.
