Loud screeching from back wheel

So this morning I start my car up pull out of the driveway and hear a screeching noise that sounds like it is coming from the rear right wheel. It made the noise while i accelerated, cruised, and braked. after about 10-20 minutes the screeching was gone and i did not here it again. Any ideas? It sounds sorta like metal on metal.

did you forget to take your e-brake off. I know it makes that kind of sound when you drive with the e-brake engaged.

i hear a screeching sound too when im cruising at low speeds, it sounds like something is rubbing, but sometimes it wont sound and somtimes it willand its coming from the rear passenger side

Could it be the wear indicator on the brake pads ??
