the splash guards are fine, this is more of a metal rubbing sound and its wicked loud but can hear well inside the cabin with the windows up can't hear much from the out side

Is it a rhythmic sound or a more constant one? Can you try and describe it?

Most of the things I can think of that would cause a rubbing noise wouldn't be affected by steering angle.

you grease the bearing properly? any suspension pieces loose? do you have a large nailhead sticking out of the tire?

forgot this one...your inner rims. any chance you did a curb check, warping your rim? or have you had that rim balanced and possibly the counterweights are rubbing the caliper?

edit: air in your brakeline and the caliper piston isn't retracting from the rotor.
