the L28 also came with the T3, they are the same turbo as far as I know, and the clank ,ight be your crossmsmber bushings, where the rear crossmsmber bolts to the body there is a large round bushing at each end, the t-top drain tubes empty right above them and they rot out, allwing you're rear red to flop around a bit, it's a royal pain to replace the bushings as you have to disconnect the trailing arms and diff and kee the car supported while you press the old out and new in

how much would it be shipped to 67217, you can look on club 240 to see that i ac tually pay for stuff i ask for. or just check my paypal if i buy it. and could you send me some pics? 1 more thing. my car is a nonturbo car with a turbo transmission, and na engine. i have every thing for the turbo but the turbo itself. u no that. i also have the turbo engine that came with the transmission. my question is what can i do to dip this thing into the 13's safely? ive got an fmic, but i was just wondering if there are any kinks in it before i go boosting it. also, i heard that the na motor is a single cam, and the turbo is a duel, it that true? u can see i know nothing about this car.

the Z31's (84-89) are all "single cams" there is actually 1 in each head, the Z32 (90-96) are all "twin cam" 2 cams in each head

as for 13's, remove as much dead weight as possible, I suggest pulling the bumper covers to remove the actual bumpers and put the covers back, not ideal for street as if you get hit you're not protected, but for the drag strip I say lighter is better, also the stock seats are heavey get the passanger out and at the very least, add a front mount I/C and turn up the boost you shoud be in the high 13's, might be wise to up the fuel pressure a coupla lbs and retard the timing an extra coupla degrees for saftey, I also recomend race gas, and the obligitory intake and exhaust should help get you securely into the 13's, ans stock wheels and tires might well be less weight than aftermarkets, decent drag radial swill help get you out of the hole

i can give you 75$ for the turbo itself. i have everything else. and ya, i definetly have a front mount intooler. best bang for the buck part! but... how the hell do i get it in there with the radiotor? and i checked the bushings. that was the problem. where can i get the best set basically for most of the rear end? i really dont want stock bushings because it already had lowering springs and shocks.

http://www.zcarparts.com will be your new best friend for a lot of new parts for the Z31. The have a "full" poly bushing kit as well as the crossmember bushing kit (not included in the full kit).

Yes. You can use a megasquirt system. A number of people have used one successfully in the past. But unless you're going with a bigger turbo and injectors, the stock ECU will get you to about 12 psi.

from my experience dyno shops are only able to tune with the larger brands of managment systems, greddy emanage, electromotive, etc, megasquirt kinda requires you to learn the system and log and tune on your own, unless you happen to find a shop experienced with it, the z31 electronics are pretty decent, jwt offers upgraded chips for modified cars, you can even burn your own of you know what your doing, romulator sounds quite interesting to me, I knwo there are S30 guys getting high hp with slightly modified Z31 electronic's on the L28

You might wanna try looking at the U-joint connecting the driveshaft to the axle. The worse the clunk gets the more of a chance it might let go on you.

cheers!!
