Now I know this is sort of odd and it sounds quite serious. However as of late, my front left end of the car, sounds like it's right by the tire, makes a medium noise level ticking. Here's the scenario..

Ticking occurs under braking coming to a stop and usually under 20 km/h. Letting off the brake makes the noise go away. There's no shake in the steering wheel - it just sounds like something is clicking back and forth down there. Haven't gotten it checked out yet, but I'm taking a shot in the dark and guessing it may be something with my brake pads themselves or even the rotor. I haven't changed the brakes in almost a year now mind you.

Any idea's guys?

mine does that to. i read some where in the forums about it. it could be your tie rods. have you hit any curbs or anything. check the bushing in the front they might be wornout and may need replacing. hope this helps.

I asked one of my mechanics online and he says it might be the tierod as well, a few months ago the right one was worn out, so I assume it's time for the left to go. Thanks for the advise - I'll look into it and report back.

is it high pitched? you can always check your dust sheild make sure its not rubbing. mine would click sometimes but it got worst and started squealing. just bend it out of the way if thats the case.

It's a low groaning click. Not high pitched at all.
