Hey Guys!

It's been a long time.I've just went and got my bearings changed about a little over a month now. Ever since than, when I make a hard right turn it makes this loud clicking sound like it wants to give. I took it back to discount tire in LA and they couldn't seem to find anything. They took me for a joyride doing figure 8's and donuts on an empty lot and the noise stopped. When I got the car back and drove it the next day it made that clicking sound again. The mechanics thinks it's my shocks (i don't think so), cuz it only makes that sound when I make a hard right. Any suggestions? :help I'm hoping to not have to dish out anymore than $100, I'm broke.

--The reason y I had my bearings changed was it was making a loud cracking sound everytime I was stopping.

Im no expert but maybe its the cv axles. I have heard that sound in the past and it turned out to be that. Also try all steering components. You would be suprised and what can be causing this sound. Have it put on a lift and look for worn bushings, broken boots and any wet spots. wet spots as in oil or power steering fluid. If there is an oil leak it can eventually go through something else. Have it looked at underneath thoroughly

The J30 is basically a 4door version of the 300ZX.. different chassis but same drivetrain.....

the mechanic did say it may be the bushing. he said that he would need to take the seats out to investigate. I'M not so sure that it is, because it makes that loud clanging sound occasionally. I'll just have to get them to take a look.

Any more suggestions?

i've just done some searches and they all seem to point at the bearings.

not sure what type of bearings that were installed. would it make any difference if it was after market? (not sure that aftermarket was istalled)
