So i already figured out that i needed my fuel filter replaced. But when the car was giving me problems, i heard a loud "clank" sound behind the car and it only made the sound once. I havnt tryed turning the car on yet with the new fuel filter because i still have to put my starter back in.

anyone have any idea why it might have made that sound? or was it just random and i shouldnt worry about it?

think my car just should start right up no problem now?

It might take a little while to start on the first try just cause there is no fuel...mine on the other hand never stopped being hard to start aftder I changed mine? I have no idea whythe clank could have been your sub frame or something smacking, if your car was bucking from lack of fuel

I tryed and the car wouldnt start. I tryed starting the car atleast 10 times and nothing happens only the sound of the starter.

I took out the top hose and tryed starting the car without the top hose and a lot of fuel came out of the fuel filter. So thats a good sign that i have fuel going through the filter? But when i plug the top hose back in, the car still wont start?

Why is it doing this? My starter is brand new and so is my fuel filter.

Is the engine turning over with the sound of the starter? Or is it just the starter you hear? As far as that loud clunk in the rear, have you taken the time to check your muffler bearings? They dont last forever and most of are cars are 14+ years old.

This is EXACTLY what was wrong with mine... Damn muffler bearings. I have had to replace mine a few times. They dont like to last too long.
