ok, im planning on turboing the 240 this summer and no one i know of has tried to use as many dsm parts as i plan, but since i have a garage full of dsm parts im thinkin i can do it for next to nothing, by the way i have a ka24e. i plan on 7 psi intercooled with a dsm t25 turbo and using a safc for fuel.1. im planning on using either 390 or 450cc dsm injectors. which would be bettter and also are nissans high or low impedence?2. since id be using a t25 the turbo will basically have to go upside down to fit like everyone has theres, can i put it down or is up the only way to go to drain the oil properlly?3.would a dsm fuel pump work in the 240?4. where can i find a wiring diagram to wire in my safc to the stock ecu?5. what can i do to modify the wastegate to open at say 5psi intead of like 12? i saw one post about it to a denver site but the link is now dead along with the info.thanxluigi

Well first I can definitely tell you, do not waste your time with a t25. That turbo is too small for a 4g so it will be WAY too small for a no-top-end 240. Get at least a t3/t4. As far as oil draining I'm not sure what you are talking about. Maybe a pic would help?

I don't know about the fuel pump. I don't see why not, as long as you wire it correctly.

Wiring diagram.. search around 240sx.org, i think they have a few. If not you can always buy a service manual for your 240 (good idea anyway).

As for the wastegate, get a softer spring.

1. Well 240sx is high impedence. Are the injectos Top-feed (i assume this if for you 1990)? They still may not work they have to fit into the intake too. iirc they don't work.

2.I would say a t25 is too small for a 2.4L i wil choke the engine at high rpms.

3. I wouldn't think a fuel pump would work.

4. i don't know.

5. I don't know. I didn't think you could.

I have never of many people using DSM stuff, most people use nissan stuff. z31 turbo, sr or ca injectors, z32 fuel pump, etc.

ok, so a t3/t4, ok. well what size t3/t4? and yes the injectors are top fed. i have the rail off my dsm so if they dont fit right in ill modify the rail. and would a 140lph be enough for a 7psi system with 390 or 450cc injectors or should i go to a 190 or 255? thanxluigi

If you don't want to go with an expensive gigantic turbo find out what turbo the 2.4 DSM Hybrid guys are using. I know someone on DSMTALK is using a 20G and having no problems.

Best T3/T04E would be Cold side=50trim (.60a/r) and Hot side= stageIII (.63a/r). This turbo is proven to respond and perform well on both KA's and SR's. Good luck!!

as far as wiring diagrams go I would get a factory service manual of ebay I just got one for 30 bucks. Very valuable info. It has the whole car's wiring system laid out.
