ok just did a rebuild on my kade and it will only hit 1 or 2 times and thats it timing SHOULD be about perfect i have moved the dist. a bit but thats all any other ides on this please

What do you meen it will only hit one or two times like the pistons firing it will only fire 2 pistons?

yeah it sounds that way or maybe to better describe it it sounds like a old muscle car starting up lol thats the best way i can describe it

Where did you move the dist?And why?

i moved the dist cause i wanted it exactly on number 1 also i have been told both timing so is it supposed tobe 20*btdc or at tdc

Test your spark and compression if there both good sounds like you did a bad rebuild and a valve isn't opening or your timing is way off to get to TDC stick your thumb in the #1 cylinder spark plug hole have it air tight as you can have a buddy crank till your thumb releases the pressure in the cylinder thats tdc some times crank pullys arnt 100% accurate or when you removed it could have spinned around good luck hope the rebuild was a success
