hey all, swapped in a 96 longblock into my 93 about 3 months ago, and i have the 96 manifolds and fuel rail + injectors. i took off my throttle body and cleaned it up a bit, looks nice. i was wondering, should i port it, polish the inside (dont know if it would hurt performance), and can i even fit it onto my car? i dont know if the TPS connectors are different from my 93 plugs. can someone confirm this? also, is there any benefit to putting in the 96 fuel rail and/or injectors on my engine, or should i just sell those? is there any advantage to using the 96 headers? i already know there's no hope of using the 96 intake, since a lot of the connectors are totally different. i already swapped in the old cams, so thats taken care of.

my main concern is the throttle body. would any of what i mentioned above be beneficial? oh, the throttle plate..or butterfly, if you will...can that be removed and cleaned with brasso or something similar, or should i just stick with the throttle body cleaner?

very interested to hear what everyone comes up with.

If you have no use for the complete 96 manifiold... then sell it. It won't work with our s13's anyways. Also can get rid of the s14 exhaust manifold. If you have your exh. mani. from the s13 then your cool. use that with the piping. I don't know the differences in spec. between the injectors. If you have a 93 harness and ecu hooked up already, the 96 injectors, won't make a difference unless you start messing with your air/fuel ratio. Whenever you add more air coming int your engine, you will have to add more fuel, and vise versa. Hope this helped some.
