I've got a good old single slammer and there is quite a bit of vibration at low rpm's. Most of it is a little above idle, like just over 1K. It shakes like a mofo if it it's the "sweet spot" if you will.

I've checked the mounts and they seem fine. And it really doesn't move much over higher rpm's, just at that point. Also, I took A/C compressor out recently and it didn't seem to have an effect, so I'm kinda stumped.

Any ideas? I was just thinking of getting a torque damper but seems kinda like I'd just be covering up the problem.

My engine shook a bit before I changed to Nismo engine mounts, perhaps that's it?
Or the engine might not be running smoothly as it can, how's your sparkplugs?

Haven't checked the plugs in a few months. They were fine before though.

I do however have a popping noise when I'm tooting around at low rpm's, like when I let off the gas. I think the timing might be a little off? Idk, I kinda like the sound. The motor is supposedly stock so I don't think it's supposed to be making that noise, lol. But it doesn't seem to be doing any harm.

Does it feel sluggish as well? Check to make sure everything is running correctly and firing on all cylinders. I had my #3 injector fail and the engine would rock side to side by about 3-4 inches.

It runs great, which makes me confused.

I'm thinking the popping noise is my exhaust and has something to do with the backpressure. Idk.

My ka24e transferrred alot of harshness to the chassis when I made a snug fitting motor mount insert out of wood. It was way harsher than I expected it to be, and had no idea that it actually made that many harsh pulses when it was just running normal.

I know the thread is kinda dead but I agree with ajax. I had the same problem with my 92 vert. It was real rough at an idle but would smooth out as rpm went up. I pulled the plig wires out one at a time until when I pulled one out and the shake didn't get any worse. Which happened to be my #1 plug. Pulled the plug and it was dry so I knew I had spark but no fuel (obviously if there was fuel but no spark it would be wet). I noid light tested the injector wiring harness and it had a good signal. Threw a new injector in it and now it purrs like a kitten. Now I will add here that it had to remember how to run well on 4 cyl again so I disconnected the battery for a while so the fuel maps would reset to factory settings. Just give it a quick test.. I thought it was normal untill I realized that my coupe didn't do it too. Lol
