Lots of CHTS talk . . . where can I get one?

So I hear a lot about replacing CHTS, and after I decided on doing it, I started looking around for one.

Either I'm not looking as I should, or I'm not understanding something. I keep coming up with Engine Coolant Temperature Sensors and harnesses in my searches, but this is not the same, is it?

If anyone can enlighten me or provide a link, that'd be awesome. Thanks!

Hmmm... If I were looking for Nissan parts, I might try a Nissan dealership. Think that will work?

Sarcasm? If yes, thanks douchenozzle!

If no, my sincerest apologies for the above. I imagine the dealer would be slightly more expensive then finding a part online. And I also think the Nissan dealership would have parts listed online, but I didn't find it in my search.

And my question remains, CHTS and ECTS are very different parts, correct?

Yep. Very good. That was sarcasm. :dblthumb:

I'm an ***hole, not a douchenozzle. Get it right. :nono:

I don't know what other stores call it. Sometimes it is called a coolant temp sensor. The part number is on my website as well as many other Z31 specific sites around the internet.

You should NEVER buy electronic sensors for your Z from an auto parts store. The couple extra dollars you'll save is not worth the hassle of having to swap it out all the time because the part isn't as good as the Nissan part. :slap:

Gotcha. That makes sense. I guess I'll go ahead and grab it from Nissan. Thanks!

Looks like the sarcastic "a**hole" helped you out even though you immediately started name calling as the first hint of sarcasm, AZ can be abrasive but name calling? Lets leave the name calling in middle school

Touche. I had just been fighting my car in the sun, and I came inside to check something on the computer. To my elation, my inquiry had a response. When I saw what it was, I wasn't in the mood for someone to be sarcastic.

Still, I figure anyone taking the time to be that sarcastic can handle being called a douchenozzle. If AZ took any legitimate offense to that, I do apologize.

Haha. I imagine everything you say is sarcastic, so I can't take that entirely seriously. I will infer that we're cool. A-hole.

Yeah. It's all good. I don't remember if I've ever taken this internet serious.
