http://www.venus-auto.com is selling CA clips for 1000 dollars currently. This is under 1000 from any sr clip i've seen lately. As far as stock parts go. Pretty much every part from a CA18de will work on the CA18det, which means you can get belts, pumps, sensors, everything here in the states, where as an sr you need to have stuff ordered and shipped from Japan. The sr non turbo here does not swap stock parts with the turbo. There are basically no bolt on parts that will not fit the CA that fit the sr. The only bolt on i can think that differ are the downpipe and intercooler upper pipe. These two parts can be easily fabed though. As we did with mine. I used a greddy downpipe for an sr and cut and rewelded the flange (ten minutes). The upperintercooler was reworked for 60 dollars by a local shop. But there are CA specific downpipes and intercoolers, just not as many choices as sr. Turbo's, air filters, radiators, what ever will work on both motors. Internals are different, which is not difficult to find parts for. They are both sick motors, so its basically a preference and choice. Sr has a slightly bigger stock turbo which is a plus.
