lost to an integra....
this kid pulls up last night (some highschool kid) with from as far as i can tell a stock integra gs with intake and maybe exhaust. So i was revving and he was reving and we were gonna race and stuff i had 1 person in my car and (by the way, higher than a mother ****er) and i got a TERRIBLE launch and he beat me through all gears then mis shifted into third and i pulled and was gone. I felt like such a dumb *** haha

I dunno, a kid I know has a 97' Integra LS with I/H/E and it doesn't seem fast at all... Example: I work him in my 97 240sx stock. He's not the best driver, but he's not bad by any means. I dunno, I think a honda without VTEC is nothing to be afraid of. Maybe his body kit, 18 inch rims, ugly wing slow him down? :xfingers :xfingers

im so tired of hearing people say that. The point of the post is to see reactions on the race not reactions on its legality. For those that cant handle illegal street racing dont whine here cause its not wanted.
By the way we only raced through third gear, its done hundreds of times a weekend in many cities. Dont bltch at me

my friend has a 98 ls with i/h/e and auto transmission. he runs about even with my other friend's ZX3 with a flowmaster exhaust but the ZX3 is manual. i havent raced the ls but ive race the ZX3 and we were about even but i had a 200lb kid in my car while he was the only person in his car. my car is completly stock by the way so a 240 should be able to take a teg.

As for the Integra vs. 240sx thing... I've never raced one so I have no realistic idea of how they perform in stock form. BUT, I remember how sluggish my 240 felt when it was stock... and I figure just about anything with ANY nut should be able to take it.
The 240 is just NOT a very fast car. It handles like a dream and is an excellent platform to build a very competitive performance car. But a stock 240 is pretty boring in a straight line.

For the record, I'm not complaining about the street racing. I have done it, and most of us have. I do think it is a REALLY bad idea to be under the influence of drugs and out driving. Compound that with a street race and you're asking for trouble. If you kill yourself doing it... oh well, but God forbid you kill someone else's friend or loved one.
