I was driving my G35 (04) the other day and it suddenly lost throttle. I had to turn the car on and off to regain throttle. The check engine light came on and the GPS screen went in to an indepth explanation for all the reasons why the check engine light may have come on. I was right outside an autobody shop when it happened so I took it in to them and they said that there may have been a glitch since it's electronic and they were able to clear the code but i'm wondering if it's possible that the sensor needs to be replaced? I don't know much about cars but i'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this with a G? Thanks for any advice!

all I can think of, is your throttle body. It would be better to go to the dealer instead of a cheezy gas station or something. I've seen many people end up going to a cheap spot just to save $100, only to end up at the dealer anyway and spend $500 more because the job wasn't done right.

yeah they actually didn't charge me at the auto body I went to but I'm wondering if I should take it to the dealer anyway just to make sure everything is alright with it. The mechanic said something about the computer possibly needing to be "relearned" and i'd have to go to a dealer to do that. I don't really wanna throw money into it if it was just a random glitch that won't happen again but i also don't want to lose throttle while I'm driving again.
