So far Max is doing fine at approx 6.5K, except that he lost the little grippy rubber sandpaper pad on his dead pedal. Probably because of me trying out a bunch of different rubber mats (I dislike cloth mats so didn't get the ones the dealer offered). It's just a thin piece of rubber with a textured surface that was glued on, so I was looking at getting something aftermarket that was a bit more substantial instead of having the dealer just glue the stock one back on.

Any recommendations on what I could put in that won't come off?

Keep in mind that at 6.5k, you could probably get it replaced for free... if your dealer isn't a douche...

I've installed a RAZO pedal over mine... I'm not sure what is available that would "blend" in... You could buy some black rubber from Mal*Wart and cut it to shape and use that instead... probably wouldn't cost more than a couple bucks and an hour of time (if you count the time it takes you to get in and out of the store)...

Same thing happened to me first month of ownership. Took to the dealership, they replaced the carpet rather that gluing it back on. Haven't had a problem since. Edit: Gratis of course!
