Lost power cant roll like this. I need power. help please

Hi I have a KA24E Engine and i was wondering what can cause my car to lose power. I lost power when i was coming back from fooling around in the mountain.after i came from the mountain i ate at a restaurant while my car's engine was running then smoke was coming out. it was a leak in the radiator hose but fixed it. I was coming back home in the freeway and when i was accelerating my car just revved up but didnt accelerate then i left it in neutral for a while then in gear. it ran.

the next day i noticed the loss of speed and did a compression test it came out to be the same as my friends ka24e so its ok.

the thing is that my car just reaches high RPM but does not accelerate much

i need help cause im always getting challenges from neighboring hondas and i cant have any honda beat a nissan

you running a manual or automatic transmission. If your motor revs up in gear but does not accelerate then yur clutch is slipping if you have a manual and if you have an automatic trans then your friction discs are worn out and you need a rebuild... what is your compression you say its the same as your friends but that doesnt tell us anything.....If you are having a loss of power problem and not slipping problem then check your timing...

its a manual. the compresion is 150 ill check the clutch thanks also i have another problem. when i turn on the car i need to step on the gas for like around 15 seconds or the car will die any idea what that might be?

Does it start up fine if it hasnt been sitting for awhile? Also do you see blackish smoke out the exhuast when this happens? If so then you have one or more injectors that are leaking fuel and you are having to clear out the extra fuel when you first start it if not then you might be having an IAC problem Idle Air Control Motor...let me know and ill be more than happy to help you out man...good luck..also check for any codes
