You have options:

1. You should be able to get a key cut to code by a dealer for a hefty sum. 2. You can call a locksmith who can make a key for you by going out there and doing their business. Again for a pretty hefty sum. 3. Get a slim jim or coat hanger and jimmy that bugger open. 4. Find a friend with AAA and call them and tell them that you locked yourself out of your car. Keep your friend with AAA next to you and have them have it written off.

the whole ignition key assembly? you have 2 options.

1. cut the bugger off the steering column2. with a small pick and hammer, tap the screws loose that are holding it in place. They should be shear screws iirc.

i did the same thing as i had lost my keys on my 93 fastback. went to the dealership and they said my car was to old and they didnt have it in their records.

i caved in and called the locksmith and within 10 minutes he made a new key for it. it was crazy how he just sat there with a blank key and what seemed like a file. he just kept whackin away at the blank until he finally got it right. nice skill or trade to learn in my opinion.

4 weeks later i had to call the locksmith again as i lost my keys again without making a copy. idiotic me. leave one key with the gf guys, even if she does drive like a maniac on drugs.
