I am told only the dealer can provide a key and program it, about $200. Any other way to do this for less money?

If you don't have a key to copy, then that's your best bet. They don't have to program it but they can cut it from your VIN number.

'90s Nissans did not have electronic keys. Nothing to program. But it usually has to be cut at a dealer because Infiniti uses the weird theft-resistant key. I had a non-dealer key for mine but I have no idea where it was cut...I've never found anyone but the dealer who can do it.
