Altima Fans:I was adding some wired items to my '08 SL this weekend (6v XM power, new hands-free phone system). Today, leaving the house my Homelink won't work for the garage door. I did not need to disconnect the battery for the work completed yesterday.

My other remotes and keypad work fine.

I cannot get my Homelink into program mode either. The left green light is on for the glare-free option and the compass is working, so the mirror has power. There are no blown fuses that I can find, and I'd assume all these function would run thru the mirror fuse.

The book says the motor cannot be running to program but doesn't ID what position the switch should be in. I tried it OFF, ACC and ON all with no results.

Any idea how to reestablish this function?

Found & fixed the problem. In testing for switched and constant power points, I put a fuse back in the wrong spot. The Homelink functions off the fuse called "Elec Parts" and it has a white label on the housing diagram, all the others are black. Popped the fuse back in and it works fine, no reprogramming necessary.

While in there, I found I was using the Stop light fuse location for my constant power, that's not a good idea so I moved it to a more appropriate location (there are unused constant power points).

FWIW, that access to the fuses is tiny which doesn't help. I also had to put on my reading glasses.....
